I will be in Tokyo on June 15, and leave from Osaka on June 30. I will stay in Tokyo for 6 nights, so I may be able to visit Tateyama one of those nights. Do you know if I should stay overnight in Tateyama? After Tokyo, I plan to go to Matsumoto, Kanazawa, then Kyoto and Osaka. I just don't know how to do the transportation. I will buy JR pass, but the train don't go to Tateyama directly. I need to transfer. Transportation can be expensive.
