Hi, I really like Hermann Hesse, it is always a pleasure to read one of his books. To answer your question I came to Cardiff over twenty years ago when I was appointed as an assistant teacher in a school. I made some friends and decided to stay. Cardiff has lots of parks and it is a very desirable place to live in the UK, especially if you like rugby and beer. If you are more interested in (alternative) culture, Bristol is much better. I plan to leave the UK in a few months because of the constant bad weather.
