A case between a man and his wife. Who do you support?
Mr. Antwi: I married you when you were 17yrs old and we have lived together for 23yrs now. Although i was 12 yrs older than you, i knew there was a great prospect for both of us. Leaving you to go and work at the mines was for both of us to benefit but what do i get now. You were given the money i gave you to your brother who is now living in the city and enjoying whiles i have nothing now. Due to the nature of the job i have been injured and I cant work as i use to. We have four children now to care for. The three boys to go and do the mining while the girl will be given for married. Please for you given the money i asked you to save for me to your brother i am divorcing you.
Mrs Antwi: Hmm my husband, do you think you are the only person who have made this home the way it is? You were the first man to break my virginity and i have remained faithful to you. Your Job was now a good one when you were rearing cattle. Those days we could barely have two meals a day. I had to carried load from village to villagee in order to sell dry fish. Do you remember when i also give you money to keep when i sell more fish. I dont think i am perpared for a divorce afterall my brother is family and he will pay the money he borrowed in time. Please husband take heart and think on what you want to do.
Money issues can break up even families. Should Mr. Antwi go on with the divorce?
