I plan on moving to the other side of our country to Melbourne but in the long term I am considering a move to the NL as I am also an EU citizen. That's good you have ambitions. I think Canada is probably better than the US to work as it pays better and has better healthcare, what do you think?

Yes, I imagine that Jamaica is more conservative than the UK. I hope you personally don't encounter any problems. Do you plan on staying in Jamaica your entire life or do you plan to one day move back to the UK or elsewhere.
