Pamela is a great book, but it's hard having a clear look on it from our own time. It looks very funny now :) La Nouvelle Justine is interesting because it pushes forward the analysis of perversion and even puts it into an auto-referential shape. At times it could be seen as a parody of the 1001 nights.

Oh good luck then ! Yes I'd be very interested in reading your paper, I loved this book. So you wrote on the first "very soft" version of it ? But La Nouvelle Justine might be harder to find, even in France.

Haha we all have our black sheeps :) I haven't met really strange or rude asian people except for an indian woman who asked for snailmailing and insulted me after I accepted... But as a man I don't get so many weird messages except from a few african scammers of course. :) Do you often meet perverts here ?
