Linguistics is more of a hobby for me. Or rather, it's a piece of what I build my life philosophy from. Chomsky is definitely an influence on me. I guess that's natural, since he's the father of modern linguistics. Generative Grammar is really interesting to me.

To be honest, I don't study all the languages on the language learning list. That list depicts all of the languages I'd like to learn in my lifetime. Well... a large amount of them. Some aren't on there.

I started studying French after I got a higher intermediate level of Spanish. If you want to learn multiple languages, focus on learning languages in the same family. I studied Latin when I was in High School, so I feel it's a little easier for me to get the hang of things with Spanish and French. Funnily enough, it actually helped me understand the declensions of Russian too.

I consider sign language to be a language. I think it's one of the most interesting types of languages, to be honest. To me, I prefer to speak a language. However, from a linguistics standpoint, sign language is absolutely fascinating. So, to answer your question, I'm not disappointed in that. =)

I haven't even checked to see if you can put that you want to learn sign language on here. I guess if you could, you would have put it. Haha. =P

It is really interesitng about being videogames and movies animator... more videogames though :P
