I have great respect for those who work with kids. Back in my days when I needed to decide which age group I would focus on for my internship (psychotherapy), I told my school supervisor that I had no patience for kids. I ended up working with adolescents and then mentally challenged adults. It's a blessing that I am working college students but I often say college students nowadays either suffer from psychical regression or have never reached adulthood. I have been a big Die Hard fan, along with Bruce Willis' early works, such as the TV series Moonlighting, The Last Boy Scout. In fact, it is those films by Bruce Willis that inspired me to pen my earliest action novellas, and it is those short stories that eventually led to my current night job as a screenwriter. Though I'd label Oscar Wilde and Arthur Miller as my initial models, I later was also influenced by Quentin Tarantino as well. But sure, I am still trying to find my own voice.
