My ancestors came from Goa, India which at one time was colonized by the portuguese so my name is Marion Da Silva. The beaches are beautiful there but haven't been there in a long time. My dad( now deceased) sent me to find info on his village Chandor which is in Goa. He'd written several historical books on the Goans and their landing in The Americas. He was also an artist and drew black & white ink etchings of African animals, scenes of Zanzibar, Arab dhows etc. We still have some of his works. Kitnip: Hello. I was in the US Marines for only 2 years active and 4 inactive from 1956 to 1962. I was stationed on Okinawa and worked as a clerk typist 0100 MOS, where I learned about computers and went back to college to major in and take classes (1959 - 1962) in computers from a Math teacher who had spent much of his career teaching math in china. I went on to work in computers from a programmer to analyst to consultant and teacher and wrote a book on how to find jobs using LINKEDIN, FACEBOOK and others and manager and wrote a book about how to ocial media websites. I worked in Israel for the Israel Aircraft corporation for 8 years teaching computer programming and analysts to Israelis and touring the country's biblical sites. I have AMAZON PRIME that I enjoy and see movies about the evolution of life on earth from the first signle celled animals to humans as we exist today. I am a 77 year old retired computer professional who developed and taught computers of many companies in the US and abroad. I am married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Like you I am interested in friendship only. I am glad I found this website. If you dont like reality shows, you probably dont like Donald Trump; I am a liberal Democrat and am a member of the St. Louis Ethical Society. I am mostly religion neutral, although I was brought up Orthodox Jewish, but later studied many religions and became neutral, but I respect all religions that don't persecute others. My taste in books and movies tends toward the new age, reincarnation, and science fiction and I have given presentations and study the future of the next 100 years and the Space colonization that is starting now.

Yes, I am a Massachusetts lawyer and a conservative which is rather unusual in this one-party Democrat state. In fact, I was the only Republican City Councillor in the entire county (which includes Boston) for most of the 10 years that I was in office. You have to be very committed to be a Republican in this state.

Rubio is the only Republican who the polls show as beating Clinton. He's very intelligent, articulate, young, good looking, from an important swing state, and Hispanic. It is vital that a conservative Republican be elected to reverse the disastrous policies that Obama has imposed. If Clinton is elected the USA as we have known it is doomed.

Politics is my favorite subject. I'm a retired lawyer from Massachusetts and am very concerned about the coming Presidential election. I think the country has been headed in a totally wrong direction under Obama and fear that we will be doom to European-style stagnation if Clinton is elected next year. I think Senator Marco Rubio is out best chance at restoring sanity to the White House. What do you think?
