Dear Ed I am happy you want to learn better English and I can help you so much. I am very afraid of Thai because it is tonal and I am sure it is too hard for an old man to learn it. I thought Khmer would be easier because it is related to Thai but not tonal how about Laotian? I have not found any information about it.
